Its been a few years since we had pizza from this place. We used to go all the time back when we used to ride our hawk 250 dual sport motorcycle. This is the spot we would pull over for some personal pies which we would share but it was just cheaper to get 2 to 3 personal pies.
On this day we tried the plain cheese pizza, the buffalo pizza and the chicken alfredo pizza. The plain one was okay but it had too much of the sauce taste. I really enjoyed the Buffallo Chicken and Alfredo pizza. Each of the pizzas ranged from $10 to $12. Its only 10 minutes from our house and I would eat here again.

It was 3 of eating and at the end there was no slices left. So either we were starving or the pizza was actually good =). I would recommend trying Pizza the Rock, if you are ever in Sullivan County, Rock Hill, New York.
I lost count but I have to be over 300 pizzas baked so far with the Expert Grill 15″ Pizza oven from walmart. I purchased the first oven for $137 last year. This summer I grabbed one up for $87 on clearance at Walmart. The first pizza oven I didn’t take care of well. I let it sit in the rain and snow all season but it still made delicious pizza.
Below you will find 6 YouTube videos shared on my pizza fan club channel. This oven can compete with all the famous brand pizza oven. There is a learning curve with dealing with the fire and keeping the temp where you want it but after baking a few pizzas you should be able to work those kinks out. The most pizzas I baked with this oven in a single night was 10, that was exhausting but also fun experience.

The famous dessert pizza using chocolate chip cookie dough and sliced strawberries. This is a really tasty pizza and I recommend you try it before you hate it =)
We had to go buy the cats some food from the pet store in Milford PA, which is next to John’s of Arthur Avenue Pizzeria, but the Milford Pet Supply store was closed. Normally, I get the Mowtown special from Johns of Arthurs but since the pet store was closed we decided to head down the road to Joey’s Pizza. This was our first time at this pizza spot and we were not disappointed. When we got there, we marveled over all the different choices. We ended up choosing a few random slices to test out a little bit of everything.
I enjoyed the plain slice, it had a nice undercarriage and crunch to it. My girlfriend loved their sweet chilly chicken slice. It was loaded with breaded chicken, eggplant, sweet peppers, and olives. Usually, she would remove olives from her food but she ate everything that was on the slice. She might have been hungry from hiking four short miles but she hasn’t stopped talking about the slice and can’t wait to go back for more. She also got the fresh mozzarella sliced and loved it as well. I didn’t even get to a bite of it!
One cool thing about Joey’s Pizza is that their pizza boxes are customized with the restaurant’s name and details. You can also cut out the coupon from the box and when you collect ten coupons, you get a free large pie. There is also plenty of seating inside and the place was clean. If you’re in the area, I recommend that you give Joey’s Pizza a try.

We had some guests over at the house and my job was to bake some pizzas. It has been a while since I used the oven and I was worried I forgot how to use it lol. This is also the second Expert Grill 15″ pizza oven I purchased. It was on sale for $87 and I couldn’t pass up the deal. I’m using 2 pizzas stones in my Expert Grill 15″ pizza oven. I’m not sure if it helps or not but I assume having the 2 stones in top of each other will help it maybe retain the heat longer.
Quick video below showing my heating up process for the expert grill oven. I will keep putting in fresh hickory logs for 30-40 minutes to get a really strong fire going and then I will put less wood in when the pizzas are baking so I don’t burn them.
Here are a few pictures and videos of pizzas baked in the Expert Grill 15″ Pizza Oven from Walmart.
I’m still working on my pizza table for the portable pizza oven. I’m just trying to figure out what I want before I start making it =). The first time I rushed into the wood shop excited to build something but had no plans and it just didn’t come out how I wanted it. Standby for version 2.0
If you been waiting to try the Expert Grill 15″ Charcoal Pizza Oven then you are in luck. If you have a Walmart near where you live and they stock these pizza ovens. Then right now they should be on sale for $87. If they don’t sell for $87 then Walmart will even drop it more. I heard some Walmarts selling the Expert Grill 15″ Charcoal Pizza Oven for as low as $40 on clearance. I happened to be in my local Walmart and seen it was on sale for $87. I grabbed a second one because my first Expert Grill 15″ Charcoal Pizza Oven I never put a cover on it and its all rusted now.
I will be going back to my local Walmart to see if I can grab any more at the even lower price =)

We didn’t expect much heading into John’s of Arthur Avenue Pizzeria in Milford, PA. We just purchased some cat food from Milford Pet Supply. The exhaust fan from John’s of Arthur Avenue pulled us right into the pizzeria and every slice we had we loved. I’m a huge fan of the pepperoni slice with the ricotta cheese on top, that crisp was delicious. I will be back to get a fresh pie to enjoy more than one slice haha.
Pizza Oven Giveaway Update 6/20/2023- I didn’t get one person to enter the giveaway and post their pizzas on this website. Looks like we have no winners for this giveaway. I will try again once we get some more users on this website.
The giveaway will end on June 16th, 2023, I will order the Expert Grill 15″ Charcoal Pizza Oven directly from Walmart website to your address with the tracking id. I was going to purchase the oven to keep at my house but then it would cost me double to ship it since Walmart will ship it for free.
You can click the picture below to see the pizza ovens page and to also purchase it if you don’t want to wait for the giveaway =)

I have been using the Expert Grill 15″ Charcoal Pizza oven now for maybe 7 months. I got it in August of 2023 but didn’t really start making pizzas until September. This is a perfect portable pizza oven for someone to learn how to bake pizzas online and to see if they like it. The oven only costs $117 on Walmart. I paid $137 and it was still worth every penny. I’m close to baking 300 pizzas with this oven. Checkout my pizza gallery below with pizzas baked with the Expert Grill pizza oven.
